Nicolas Cage is unhinged and wielding a chainsaw and thirsty for blood, and revenge, in the action-horror ‘Mandy’ which made an impression at the Sundance Film Festival.
RLJE Films has now acquired all US rights to the thriller, according to a report from Bloody Disgusting.
Cage’s movie is currently holding a 100% critic’s score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is no small feat.
According to the premise:
“Set in 1983, Cage plays Red Miller, a broken and haunted man, who hunts the unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life.”
The move is set to releases this summer.
