Bruce Campbell Says If ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ Is Cancelled, It Means No More Ash

Right now, the Starz series ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ is in a state of television limbo as it is presently unclear if the show will be cancelled or if it will continue.

One of horror’s most beloved heroes is Ash, played by Bruce Campbell, and Campbell believes that fans may not see the iconic character should the series find itself on the chopping block.

“We won’t know [if we’ve been renewed] till the middle of March. We’re in the horrible television limbo right now,” Campbell said last month during an interview with EW.

“If they take us off the air, we can think about another movie. And if they don’t, we can just keep plugging away.”

Last Thursday, Campbell spoke during the Evening With Bruce Campbell” event at the Irish Film Institute about his doubts about a potential new Evil Dead movie.

“If they cancel it, I think Ash is done,” Campbell said at the event.

“I have lavender on my property. I’m going to smoke weed and hang out.”
