The Grudge Reboot Has Official Release Date

The reboot to ‘The Grudge’ now officially has a release date, and it will make this summer a bit more darker and scarier.

According to a report from Deadline, Nicolas Pesce’s upcoming reboot starring Lin Shaye, Demian Bichir, John Cho, and Andrea Riseborough, will hit theaters August 16, 2019.

Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert will produce the redux for Ghost House, while Nathan Kahane, Erin Westerman will join Schuyler Weiss, Roy Lee, and Doug Davison to executive produce for Good Universe.

Paranoia On Display in New Clip from ‘The Wolf Hour’

Psychological thriller ‘The Wolf Hour’ premiered at January’s Sundance Film Festival and was well received, and is set to hit theaters on December 6th.

Starring Naomi Watts, the film tells the story of “a cultural icon and activist during the 1960s, now fallen from grace and a shell of her former self. An unseen tormentor begins exploiting her weaknesses and she must face her demons at the height of one of the darkest points in New York history: the summer of the Son of Sam murders.”

Donna McRae’s ‘Lost Gully Road’ will officially hit the United States on DVD and digital on December 3rd, via Wild Eye Releasing, and a new trailer is pumping up the hype.

According to the synopsis: “Lost Gully Road tells the story of Lucy, a directionless young woman who travels to a secluded cottage in the forest to wait for her sister. With no television and little communication to the outside world she spends her days alone and drinking to pass the time. That is, until her unexpected host decides to keep her company…”

Blumhouse is gearing up for it’s nightmarish twist on ‘Fantasy Island’ and has officially released an international trailer that features new footage.

In the film, slated to arrive on February 14th, 2020: “The Enigmatic Mr. Roarke (played by Michael Peña) makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.”
