Hex Studios’ ‘Automata’ is making it’s mark, already. The film has broken it’s £80K Kickstarter goal, making it the UK’s most funded narrative film ever on Kickstarter.
According to the synopsis:
“The film tells the story of antique expert Brendan Cole who is sent to authenticate a 300-year-old clockwork doll with a notorious history, known as ‘The Infernal Princess’. In the remote Scottish mansion where it has been discovered, Brendan soon finds himself the victim of the automaton’s legendary curse.”
Directed by Lawrie Brewster, the film stars Jamie Scott Gordon, Alexandra Nicole Hulme, Erich Redman, Jonathan Hansler and Victoria Lucie.
Automata is scheduled to release in December.
