Hip-hop artist The Game has taken a very unique approach to recruiting Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James to join the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency this summer.
According to TMZ Sports, The Game’s company, Trees By Game, has created a new strain of marijuana called “‘LA’ Bron James” in an effort to cash in on the James-to-Lakers hype that has already generated momentum ahead of this summer.
The Game is a huge Lakers fan, so the connection, and motivation, makes sense. But can a strain of marijuana really make a difference?
Maybe not on LeBron’s decision this summer, but maybe it will in marijuana dispensaries across California.
