North Providence Mayor Charles Lombardi says that he doesn’t have an issue with a rather unflattering public mural of him sitting on a toilet while wearing a crown, but he does have a dispute with the building’s owner.
Lombardi has been involved in a dispute with building owner Anthony Farina over the structure described by the mayor as a “health hazard”, according to WPRI-TV (h/t Yahoo), saying Farina should question how he’s representing himself to the community.
The artist of the mural, Paul Morse, says that he has nothing against Lombardi, adding that he was hired specifically to paint the mural.
