‘The Crescent’, directed by Seth A. Smith, just arrived in Canada and it will head to Amazon Prime, VOD, and iTunes on September 4th.

Starring Andrew Gillis, Amy Trefry, and Britt Loder, the film’s synopsis says:

“After an unexpected death in the family, a mother and son struggle to find spiritual healing at a beachfront summer home. All the while, a mysterious force from the sea threatens to tear their souls apart.”

‘The Fly’ Star David Hedison Dead at 92

David Hedison

The star of the original version of 1958’s ‘The Fly’, David Hedison, has passed away at the age of 92, according to Deadline.

“Even in our deep sadness, we are comforted by the memory of our wonderful father” the family said in a statement. “He loved us all dearly and expressed that love every day. He was adored by so many, all of whom benefitted from his warm and generous heart. Our dad brought joy and humor wherever he went and did so with great style.”

Hedison also starred in films such as ‘Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea’ and ‘Son of Robin Hood’.

A brand new clip from the upcoming film ‘Blood Paradise’ gives fans a glimpse into the kind of brutality that is in store when the film officially arrives.

According to the synopsis: “Reeling after her latest novel flops, best-selling crime writer Robin Richards (Andréa Winter) is sent by her publisher to the Swedish countryside to regain inspiration. Instead of relaxation, she comes across an assortment of peculiar and possibly dangerous characters. The beautiful and stylish young woman soon discovers just how dangerous farm life can be.”
