In an effort to provide a true sequel to Stanley Kubrick’s classic film ‘The Shining’, Mike Flanagan is behind the camera for Stephen King’s ‘Doctor Sleep’, which continues the story of Danny Torrence.
Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson star in the film that brings us all back to The Overlook Hotel.
Per the synopsis; “Struggling with alcoholism, Danny Torrance remains traumatized by the sinister events that occurred at the Overlook Hotel when he was a child. He soon finds a new purpose when he forms a psychic connection with a girl who shares his shining ability.”
Doctor Sleep arrives in theaters on November 8th.
