Netflix Cancels ‘Chambers’

Following just one season, Netflix has officially canned ‘Chambers’ which starred Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn.

The series premiered only in April of this year and it told the story of a heart attack survivor who becomes obsessed with the mystery surrounding the heart that she now has.

“Chambers will not return for a second season,” Netflix said of their decision. “We’re grateful to creator and showrunner Leah Rachel for bringing this story to us and to her fellow executive producers Alfonso Gomez Rejon, Steve Gaghan from Super Emotional, Winnie Kemp and Wolfgang Hammer from Super Deluxe, and Jennifer Yale. We’re also thankful to the tireless crew, and to our incredible cast, especially Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn and talented newcomer Sivan Alyra Rose.”

Netflix Drops Trailer for ‘Another Life’

Netflix is hyping up the arrival of their new sci-fi series ‘Another Life’ by dropping a brand new trailer this week.

Starring Katee Sackhoff, the 10-episode debut season will arrive on July 25th.

Per the synopsis: “When a mysterious alien Artifact lands on Earth, Commander Niko Breckinridge (Katee Sackhoff) has to lead humanity’s first interstellar mission to its planet of origin, while her husband (Justin Chatwin) tries to make first contact with the artifact back on earth. Another Life explores the miracle of life, how precious life is in a universe mostly empty of it, and the lengths we will go to protect the ones we love.”

Netflix Renews ‘The Society’

Netflix has officially renewed ‘The Society’ for a second season and production is set to begin later this year.

The second season is likely to arrive in 2020, and the show draws a lot of comparisons to ‘Lord of the Flies’.

Trailer Arrives for Netflix Mockumentary ‘Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein’

Netflix is keeping David Harbour busy these days.

On top of his role in the popular series ‘Stranger Things’ which drops it’s third season on July 4th, Harbour is also starring in a new mokumentary set to arrive on July 16th on Netflix.

‘Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein’ is about: “Expect the unexpected in this over-the-top and often dramatic(ish) reimagined tale of mystery and suspense. With appearances by Alfred Molina, Kate Berlant, and more special guests, Harbour explores the depths of his family’s acting lineage to gain insight into his father’s legacy – all in 28-minutes.”
