Wes Craven’s ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ gave us a number of iconic and innovative scenes, and death scenes, one including the deaths of Tina (Amanda Wyss) who was dragged across the ceiling and slowly killed by Freddy Krueger, and Glen (Johnny Depp) who was pulled into his waterbed and reduced to a fountain of blood.
Those scenes were shot using innovation, and thanks for the film’s Mechanical Special Effects designer Jim Doyle, who also designed Freddy’s legendary glove, shared some behind-the-scenes footage on Vimeo of the rotating room, as well as news coverage when the film was in production back in 1984.
