NEON has released Josephine Decker’s ‘Shirley’ and is now available on VOD platforms such at Hulu.
Starring Elisabeth Moss in the role of Shirley Jackson (who wrote the book ‘The Haunting of Hill House’) the film “tells the story of what happens when a young couple moves in with the famed author, Shirley Jackson, and her Bennington College professor husband, Stanley Hyman. The young couple hopes to start a new life but instead find themselves fodder for a psycho-drama that inspires Shirley’s next novel.”
