Dark Sky Films Drops Trailer for ‘The Honeymoon Phase’

Dark Sky Films has unveiled a brand new trailer for their sci-fi thriller ‘The Honeymoon Phase’ which is set to arrive in theaters and on VOD platforms on August 21st.

According to the official synopsis: “Down on their luck and needing some quick cash, struggling young lovers Tom and Eve lie about their relationship in order to enter THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT, an experiment for married couples run by the mysterious Director and Handler. With the promise of $50,000,Tom and Eve must survive 30-days isolated together in a futuristic smart home, while the researchers attempt to determine why couples fall out of love. Over the course of their stay, Eve begins a violent decent into madness as she questions if her lover really is the man she thinks he is.”

A brand new trailer has arrived for ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ which gives fans an update on what Egon had been up to in recent years.

According to the official synopsis: “When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.”

The movie hits theaters on November 19th, 2021.

‘Halloween Kills’ Clocks Over $4.9 Million from Thursday Night Previews

Michael Myers is making a killing once again during the the Halloween season, but this time ‘Halloween Kills’ was fueled by the film’s increased availability on the Peacock streaming platform in it’s Thursday night previews last night.

According to Deadline, the film clocked $4.98 million during it’s Thursday opening and it’s now on track to “open to mid-to-high $30Ms”, which is a major drop off from the 2018 ‘Halloween’ film that banked a $76 million domestic opening, but still impressive given the current state of theaters and the world.

Shudder has released a brand new trailer for ‘Horror Noire’ which is set to arrive on the streaming platform on Thursday, October 28th before heading to AMC at a later date.

The six stories featured in the anthology, which focuses on Black horror stories from Black directors and screenwriters, are: “Daddy,” “Bride Before You,” “Brand of Evil,” “The Lake,” “Sundown” and “Fugue State.”
