New Trailer Arrives for ‘My Dead Ones’

Set to arrive this Halloween in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Australia, Japan, Indian, New Zealand, and Portugal via iTunes, Google Play, Vimeo and Amazon Direct Video is the new horror movie ‘My Dead Ones’, and a new trailer has been released to celebrate it’s pending arrival.

According to the rundown: “David, a shy film student, loves filming people around him. He takes notice of an old and neglected lady living alone in the next building who he decides to film her before putting her out of her misery. Waking up in his bed the morning after, David finds the woman cooking breakfast. She is alive and looking healthy. As David questions Maria’s presence, he will find out that Maria has a sinister mission for him. “David will kill and share his love for killing all through the lens of his camera and the help of the darknet.”

XYZ Films will be dropping it’s new film, a post-Civil War horror western, called ‘Ghosts of the Ozarks’ in select theaters, on demand, and on digital on February 3rd, and to hype it’s arrival a new trailer has arrived.

Starring David Arquette, Angela Bettis, Thomas Hobson, Phil Morris, Tara Perry, and Tim Blake Nelson star in the film directed by Matt Glass and Jordan Wayne Long.

According to the rundown: “In post-Civil War Arkansas, a young doctor is mysteriously summoned to a remote town in the Ozarks only to discover that the utopian paradise is filled with secrets and surrounded by a menacing, supernatural presence.”

Shudder Unveils New Clip for ‘The Last Thing Mary Saw’

The Last Thing Mary Saw

Shudder has released a new clip for the upcoming period horror movie ‘The Last Thing Mary Saw’, which was acquired by the streaming platform last year and is set to arrive on Thursday, January 20th.

Isabelle Fuhrman, Rory Culkin, Stefanie Scott, and Judith Roberts star in the film, which is set in 1843, written and directed by Edoardo Vitaletti.

According to the synopsis: “As the story jumps back in time, we witness Mary, raised in a repressively religious household, finding fleeting happiness in the arms of Eleanor (Isabelle Fuhrman), the home’s maid. Her family, who believe they are seeing, speaking, and acting on God’s behalf, view the girls’ relationship as an abomination, to be dealt with as severely as possible.

“The couple attempts to carry on in secret, but someone is always watching, or listening, and the wages of perceived sin threaten to become death, with the tension only heightened by the arrival of an enigmatic stranger (Rory Culkin) and the revelation of greater forces at work.”

‘Speak No Evil’ Preparing For World Premier At Sundance Film Festival

TrustNordisk has released a trailer for director and screenwriter Christian Tafdrup’s upcoming psychological horror ‘Speak No Evil’, which will make it’s World Premier at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival.

According to the official synopsis: “On a vacation in Toscana, a Danish family instantly becomes friends with a Dutch family. Months later, the Danish couple receives an unexpected invitation to visit the Dutch in their wooden house and decide to go for the weekend. However, it doesn’t take long before the joy of reunion is replaced with misunderstandings. Things gradually get out of hand, as the Dutch turn out to be something very else than what they have pretended to be. The small Danish family now find themselves trapped in a house, that they wish they had never entered.”

Morten Burian, Sidsel Siem, Koch Fedja, Van Huêt, Karina Smulders, Liva Forsberg, and Marius Damslev star.
