Even though we haven’t yet come to Halloween, a brand new Christmas horror is on the way courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, and a new trailer has arrived to hype it’s arrival on digital on October 27th.
According to SyFy Wire: “The troubles begin when the Cashman family first moves into a crumbling old orphanage in Washington state, with dad David hoping to spend the holidays fixing it up in the hopes they can sell it and move away again — much to mom Hannah’s consternation. But while kids Franklin, Zoe, and Alicia are less than enthused with the whole plan when they first get there, they quickly change their mind after finding a stash of old toys in an abandoned playroom.
However, as the children’s attachment to their new finds grows in intensity, and their behavior grows stranger and stranger over the next following days, their nanny suspects it might have something to do with the toys — and that they may be manipulating everyone.
With no one in the family really heeding her warnings, and the body count starting to stack up, it’ll be up to her to help everyone else escape and ensure they live to see another holiday. ”
The film becomes available on Blu Ray and DVD on January 19th, 2021.
