Netflix Shows Off Stop Motion Film ‘Alien Xmas’

Netflix is looking to put an out-of-world touch on the holiday season, and the Chiodo Bros. (Killer Clowns from Outer Space) new stop motion film bring aliens to the Christmas holiday season.

Produced by Jon Favreau and directed by Stephen Chiodo, the film officially arrives on the streaming service on November 20th. According to the official rundown: “When a race of kleptomaniac aliens attempts to steal Earth’s gravity in order to more easily take everything on the planet, only the gift-giving spirit of Christmas and a small alien named X can save the world.”

Just in time for Halloween season, Netflix will be dropping it’s brand new horror ‘ No One Gets Out Alive’, which is the adaptation of Adam Nevill’s novel, and a new trailer has dropped to show fans what is in store.

According to the official rundown: An immigrant (Cristina Rodlo) in search of the American dream is forced to take a room in a boarding house, where she finds herself in a nightmare she can’t escape.”

Trailer Arrives for ‘The Guilty’

A brand new trailer has been released for the upcoming suspense thriller ‘The Guilty’ which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and is set to arrive exclusively on the Netflix streaming platform on October 1st, following it’s release in select theaters on September 24th.

“The film takes place over the course of a single morning in a 911 dispatch call center. Call operator Joe Baylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) tries to save a caller in grave danger—but he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems, and facing the truth is the only way out.”

Unsolved Mysteries Returns to Netflix in 2022

Netflix will be bringing back it’s reboot of the acclaimed series Unsolved Mysteries, with brand new episodes arriving in Summer 2022.

According to Deadline, “[Volume 3] will feature more unexplained disappearances, tragic events, and bizarre occurrences – the first two volumes have included stories such as a strange death in Oslo, tsunami spirits in Japan and UFOs in Massachusetts.”

The new series is a departure from the Robert Stack classics from the 1990s, and 12 episodes are currently available on Netflix. The new season, Volume 3, will arrive next summer.
