A24 has made a name for themselves in regards to their offerings of unique horror movies, and their latest movie ‘False Positive’ is no exception. Now, we get a chance to take a look at the upcoming film thanks to a brand new trailer.
According to the official synopsis: “After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Glazer) and Adrian (Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren’t complicated enough…”
The film will arrive on Hulu on June 25th following it’s world premier at Tribeca.
Hulu Streaming ‘Censor’ and ‘Gaia’ in October as Part of “Huluween”
The season is upon us! It’s the time of year that horror fans love and a number of platforms are gearing up to celebrate the arrival of Halloween, such as Hulu which is gearing up for it’s annual “Huluween” festivities.
To make the event much more special, Hulu is bringing two of this year’s most highly regarded horror movies to “Huluween” in Prano Bailey-Bond’s ‘Censor’ and Jaco Bouwer’s ‘Gaia this upcoming October.
Censor – “When film censor Enid (Niamh Algar) discovers an eerie horror video that speaks directly to her sister’s mysterious disappearance, she resolves to unravel the puzzle behind the film and its enigmatic director – a quest that will blur the lines between fiction and reality in terrifying ways.”
The film stars Niamh Algar, Nicholas Burns, Vincent Franklin, Sophia La Porta, Adrian Schiller, and Michael Smiley.
Gaia – “An injured forest ranger on a routine mission is saved by two off-the-grid survivalists. What is initially a welcome rescue grows more suspicious as the son and his renegade father reveal a cultish devotion to the forest. When their cabin is attacked by a strange being it’s clear there is a far greater threat in this unrelenting wilderness.”
The film stars Monique Rockman, Carel Nel, Alex van Dyk, and Anthony Oseyemi.
The Hunt Continues in Hulu’s ‘Sasquatch’
The Duplass Brothers, Mark ad Jay, are on the hunt for the infamous sasquatch in a new three-part original documentary series appropriately named ‘Sasquatch’ which is set to hit Hulu on April 20th.
The three-part series “investigates rumors of a bizarre twenty-five-year old triple homicide said to be the work of a mythical creature.”
Hulu’s ‘Into the Dark’ Returns with ‘Tentacles’
Hulu’s popular series ‘Into the Dark’ is set to make it’s return to the streaming service with it’s latest installment ‘Tentacles’, which is set to officially premier on February 12th, just in time for Valentines’ day.
Starring Dana Drori and Casey Deidrick, the episode is about a couple that fall in love, only to see their relationship take a terrifying turn.
