‘Deep Water’ Teaser Trailer Starring Ben Affleck

We got a brand new glimpse at Fatal Attraction and Jacob’s Ladder director Adrian Lyne‘s erotic psychoglical thriller ‘Deep Water’ which is slated to arrive on the Hulu streaming platform on March 18th.

Starring Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck, the film was supposed to arrive in theaters back in 2020, and marks Lyne’s first film since Unfaithful back in 2002.

According to the official synopsis: “Affleck and de Armas play an attractive young married couple whose mind games with each other take a twisted turn when people around them start turning up dead. The couple staves off divorce in a loveless marriage by allowing each to take lovers, but it becomes messy as Highsmith exposed the surface facade of American suburban life.”

The film also stars Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Tracy Letts (Lady Bird), Rachel Blanchard (Fargo), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan), Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth), Kristen Connolly (House Of Cards), and Jade Fernandez (Little).

Brand New Trailer Arrives for ‘Fresh’

Searchlight Pictures has dropped a brand new trailer for Mimi Cave’s new horror ‘Fresh’ which is set to arrive on the streaming platform on March 4th. The film made it’s world premier at the Sundance Film Festival last month.

According to the official synopsis: “Frustrated by scrolling dating apps only to end up on lame, tedious dates, Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones) takes a chance by giving her number to the awkwardly charming Steve (Sebastian Stan) after a produce-section meet-cute at the grocery store. During a subsequent date at a local bar, sassy banter gives way to a chemistry-laden hookup, and a smitten Noa dares to hope that she might have actually found a real connection with the dashing cosmetic surgeon. She accepts Steve’s invitation to an impromptu weekend getaway, only to find that her new paramour has been hiding some unusual appetites.”

Chloë Grace Moretz stars in Hulu’s brand new sci-fi thriller ‘Mother/Android’ which is set to premier on December 17th following Hulu’s acquisition of the United States rights to the Miramax movie.

Produced by Matt Reeves via 6th & Idaho, the official summary says:

“Moretz stars as Georgia who, with her boyfriend Sam (Algee Smith), goes on a treacherous journey to escape their country, which is caught in an unexpected war with artificial intelligence. Days away from the arrival of their first child, the couple must face No Man’s Land— a stronghold of the android uprising, in hopes of reaching safety before giving birth.”

Hulu Streaming ‘Censor’ and ‘Gaia’ in October as Part of “Huluween”

The season is upon us! It’s the time of year that horror fans love and a number of platforms are gearing up to celebrate the arrival of Halloween, such as Hulu which is gearing up for it’s annual “Huluween” festivities.

To make the event much more special, Hulu is bringing two of this year’s most highly regarded horror movies to “Huluween” in Prano Bailey-Bond’s ‘Censor’ and Jaco Bouwer’s ‘Gaia this upcoming October.

Censor – “When film censor Enid (Niamh Algar) discovers an eerie horror video that speaks directly to her sister’s mysterious disappearance, she resolves to unravel the puzzle behind the film and its enigmatic director – a quest that will blur the lines between fiction and reality in terrifying ways.”

The film stars Niamh Algar, Nicholas Burns, Vincent Franklin, Sophia La Porta, Adrian Schiller, and Michael Smiley.

Gaia – “An injured forest ranger on a routine mission is saved by two off-the-grid survivalists. What is initially a welcome rescue grows more suspicious as the son and his renegade father reveal a cultish devotion to the forest. When their cabin is attacked by a strange being it’s clear there is a far greater threat in this unrelenting wilderness.”

The film stars Monique Rockman, Carel Nel, Alex van Dyk, and Anthony Oseyemi.
