Jordan Peele has notched another success with his new sci-fi horror ‘Nope’ which officially arrived in theaters this weekend, and early numbers show that it is set to be another global success after a strong opening.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the new flick clocked in $44 million in it’s opening.
To put that into perspective, Peele’s prior films had a promising opening and carried that momentum to a successful global run. Peele’s ‘Get Out’ opened to $33 million and ended with $255 million globally, while ‘Us’ opened at $87 million and closed at $255 million, making the latest film that much more exciting.
