If you’re like me, and love the Friday the 13th franchise, then you will appreciate when a film pays homage to the iconic horror franchise, as the new teaser for upcoming horror movie ‘Final Summer’ did.
Popcorn Frights is jam-packed with a ton of premiers and favorites this year, and will host the world premier of John Isberg’s ‘Final Summer’ on Saturday, August 13th at 11pm EST at Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (get tickets).
The film will also be available virtually within the starting August 14th at 11 am ET (US only).
According to the official synopsis: “It is late summer 1991 and the final day of summer camp at Camp Silverlake when tragedy strikes. That evening, as the counselors attempt to shut down the camp for the season, someone is waiting in the darkness to seek revenge on the unsuspecting camp. Who is the masked killer? Is it the camp urban legend? Or is it something more sinister? Not everything is what it seems at Camp Silverlake.”
