Looking for a horrific twist on a timeless children’s series? Then you may find the new indie horror ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ exactly what you’re looking for, and a brand new trailer dropped to give you a glimpse of the film, courtesy of Jagged Edge Productions.
Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott star in the film that does not have an official release date as of yet.
“Christopher Robin is pulled away from them, and he’s not [given] them food, it’s made Pooh and Piglet’s life quite difficult,” director Rhys Frake-Waterfield said, during an interview with Variety. “Because they’ve had to fend for themselves so much, they’ve essentially become feral,” he continued, adding “So they’ve gone back to their animal roots. They’re no longer tame: they’re like a vicious bear and pig who want to go around and try and find prey.”
Sadly, due to copyrights issues, Tigger and Eeyore will not be in the film.
