Watch the Short Film ‘Laura Hasn’t Slept’ Which Inspired ‘Smile’

This year’s horror hit, Parker Finn’s ‘Smile’ has been one a great success both in the theaters where is has generated around $215 million globally to date, and on Paramount+ and now you can see Finn’s short film from 2019 that inspired the film.

Laura Hasn’t Slept premiered at South by Southwest in 2020, and that’s where Paramount first saw it” Finn said. “This is the origin of everything that became Smile.”

The short will be available on the ‘Smile’ Blu-ray and it has already entered the online horror creators realm as it is now on YouTube.

Caitlin Stasey (Kindred Spirits) and Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects) star in the 11-minute short.
