Peacock Developing ‘Grimm’ Revival in Feature Film Form

Grimm

Peacock is working at bringing back a beloved NBC series and turning it into a feature film.

According to Deadline, Peacock is developing a revival of the series ‘Grim’, which aired for six seasons spanning 123 episodes prior to getting cancelled by NBC back in 2017, in the form of a feature film exclusively on the platform.

Per the report – “Drop Dead Diva creator Josh Berman is writing the new take, which he is executive producing with the original series’ creative team, co-creators/executive producers and showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner’s Hazy Mills Productions and Universal Television.”

“The exact premise of the Grimm movie is kept under wraps” the article points out before adding that “It is believed to have ties to the series for diehard fans but could also be easily accessed by new viewers not familiar with the original mythology as it introduces new mythology and characters.”

Stay tuned for more as more details become available.
