Halloween may be the most anticipated horror film of the past decade and the anticipation continues to build for David Gordon Green’s take on the sequel to John Carpenter’s original, which will see the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.
A brand new trailer, along with an international trailer, has been released for the film, and you can see both below.
Per the synopsis: “Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”
‘Abrakadabra’ Is the Last Entry in the Giallo Trilogy
The final film in the Giallo trilogy, ‘Abrakadabra’ will make it’s premier at the upcoming SITGES Film Festival in October, and a new trailer has arrived the hype Luciano and Nicolás Onetti’s next film.
According to the synopsis: “Dante, The Great, a prestigious magician, accidentally dies during a risky magic trick. Thirty-five years later his son Lorenzo, also a magician, presents a magic show in one of the most important theaters in the city. From then on, a series of murders will begin to take place and will attempt to incriminate him. Lorenzo must discover who and why seeks to involve him before it is too late…”
‘The Dark’ to Arrive on VOD and in Theaters Next Month
This October will pack plenty of fun for horror fans, as we all gear up for what should be an incredible Halloween season for fright fans, and ‘The Dark’ will be adding more fun to an already stacked horror movie lineup in October.
The Dark Sky film, which stars Nadia Alexander, Toby Nichols, and Karl Markovics, is about, “On the outskirts of a small town lies Devil’s Den, a mysterious tract of woods where many have entered but no one has ever left. The local rumor is that the spirit of a young girl who was horrifically murdered there haunts and hunts in this dense forest, brutally slaying anyone who dares to step into her terrain. When a man with a dark past crosses her path, a series of events are set in motion that may lead to a peculiar kind of redemption for two tragically tortured souls.”
‘Knuckleball’ Pits 12-Year Old in Horrific Fight of His Life
The Michael Peterson film, which stars Michael Ironside, Munro Chambers, Luca Villacis, Kathleen Munroe, and Chenier Hundal, tells the story of, “Alone, and targeted on an isolated farm, 12 year old Henry finds himself at the center of a maelstrom of terror, and a dark family legacy, when his secretive grandfather dies suddenly in the night.”
Knuckleball arrives in theaters and On Demand & Digital HD on October 5th.
