‘Pennywise: The Story of IT’ Documentary Releases Trailer

Pennywise first terrorized audiences when Stephen King’s ‘It’ was released in a mini-series adaptation back in the fall of 1990.

Fast forward to 2017, and Pennywise returned in the critically acclaimed, re-imagining of the character for the big screen.

Now, a documentary that consists of over 50 interviews with cast & crew as well as over 700 never-before-seen photos from the production looks to “tell a story heard by few and showcase a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage and photos seen by even fewer.”

‘The Story of It’, led by director Chris Griffiths, is set to arrive this Summer and a new teaser trailed will give you a glimpse into what’s in store in a few months time.

John Carl Buechler Dies at 66

Special effects legend John Carl Buechler has died at the age of 66 following a battle with cancer.

Buechler made a name for himself with his work on Re-Animator, Ghoulies, From Beyon, A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Master, and Halloweeb 4: The Return of Michael Myers, among others.

Buechler was also the director behind Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, which saw Kane Hodder don the mask for the first time in the franchise.

Netflix Hypes Season 1 of ‘Black Summer’

Netflix has begun to hype up the arrival of the first season of ‘Black Summer’, their prequel series of ‘Z Nation’.

The series premiers on April 11th, and according to the synopsis:

“Thrust alongside a small group of American refugees, these complete strangers must find the strength they need to fight their way back to loved ones. But in order for Rose and her team to brave this hostile new world, they will need to make brutal decisions to contend with zombies – and each other.”

Survival Thriller ‘Body at Brighton Rock’ Set to Arrive in April

Following it’s premier at the SXSW Film Festival, Rosanne Benjamin’s survival thriller ‘Body at Brighton Rock’ has dropped a brand new trailer to hype it’s official release on April 16th.

Starring Casey Adans, Emily Althaus, John Getz, Matt Peters, Miranda Bailey and Susan Burke, the film is about:

“Wendy, a part-time summer employee at a mountainous state park, takes on a rough trail assignment at the end of the season, trying to prove to her friends that she’s capable enough to do the job. When she takes a wrong turn and ends up deep in the backcountry, she stumbles upon what might be a potential crime scene. Stuck with no communication after losing her radio and with orders to guard the site, Wendy must fight the urge to run and do the harder job of staying put — spending the night deep in the wilderness, facing down her worst fears and proving to everyone – including herself – that she’s made of stronger stuff than they think she is.”
