Netflix is bringing back an inconic series from the 1990s.
‘Unsolved Mysteries’ which was made famous in the late 80s and early 90s, and hosted by the late Robert Stack, is being rebooted on the famous streaming platform, according to Deadline.
The reboot is being helmed by Stranger Things EP Shawn Levy and his company 21 Laps Entertainment, alongside Netflix.
Per the report from Deadline: “The 12-part show will use re-enactments in a documentary format to profile real-life mysteries and unsolved crimes, lost love, cases involving missing persons and unexplained paranormal events. Each episode will focus on one mystery. In the original series, actors played the victims, criminals and witnesses but family members and police were regularly interviewed. “

Following just one season, Netflix has officially canned ‘Chambers’ which starred Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn.
The series premiered only in April of this year and it told the story of a heart attack survivor who becomes obsessed with the mystery surrounding the heart that she now has.

We’re also thankful to the tireless crew, and to our incredible cast, especially Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn and talented newcomer Sivan Alyra Rose.”
