Miramax Reportedly for Sale, ‘Halloween’ and ‘Scream’ Franchises Could Be Impacted

According to a bombshell report from Variety, beIN Media group is looking to sell up to 50% of Miramax in a deal that would value the company at $650 million.

beIN currently owns the company, which was founded in 1979 but Bob and Harvey Weinstein and is the home of the Halloween and Scream horror franchises.

It’s unclear what will come of this report, but it’s worth watching as it could have a massive impact on the future of both Halloween and Scream movies.
