The final trailer for Rian Johnson’s murder mystery ‘Knives Out’ has been released and the suspense is set in motion.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, Lakeith Stanfield, Don Johnson, Ana De Armas, Jaeden Martell, Riki Lindhome, Frank Oz, Edi Patteron and Raúl Castillo all star in the film that hits theaters on November 27th.

According to the official synopsis: “When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan’s dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan’s untimely death.”

Post-Civil War Horror Western ‘Ghosts of the Ozarks’ Arriving Next Month

XYZ Films will be dropping it’s new film, a post-Civil War horror western, called ‘Ghosts of the Ozarks’ in select theaters, on demand, and on digital on February 3rd, and to hype it’s arrival a new trailer has arrived.

Starring David Arquette, Angela Bettis, Thomas Hobson, Phil Morris, Tara Perry, and Tim Blake Nelson star in the film directed by Matt Glass and Jordan Wayne Long.

According to the rundown: “In post-Civil War Arkansas, a young doctor is mysteriously summoned to a remote town in the Ozarks only to discover that the utopian paradise is filled with secrets and surrounded by a menacing, supernatural presence.”

Shudder Unveils New Clip for ‘The Last Thing Mary Saw’

The Last Thing Mary Saw

Shudder has released a new clip for the upcoming period horror movie ‘The Last Thing Mary Saw’, which was acquired by the streaming platform last year and is set to arrive on Thursday, January 20th.

Isabelle Fuhrman, Rory Culkin, Stefanie Scott, and Judith Roberts star in the film, which is set in 1843, written and directed by Edoardo Vitaletti.

According to the synopsis: “As the story jumps back in time, we witness Mary, raised in a repressively religious household, finding fleeting happiness in the arms of Eleanor (Isabelle Fuhrman), the home’s maid. Her family, who believe they are seeing, speaking, and acting on God’s behalf, view the girls’ relationship as an abomination, to be dealt with as severely as possible.

“The couple attempts to carry on in secret, but someone is always watching, or listening, and the wages of perceived sin threaten to become death, with the tension only heightened by the arrival of an enigmatic stranger (Rory Culkin) and the revelation of greater forces at work.”

‘Speak No Evil’ Preparing For World Premier At Sundance Film Festival

TrustNordisk has released a trailer for director and screenwriter Christian Tafdrup’s upcoming psychological horror ‘Speak No Evil’, which will make it’s World Premier at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival.

According to the official synopsis: “On a vacation in Toscana, a Danish family instantly becomes friends with a Dutch family. Months later, the Danish couple receives an unexpected invitation to visit the Dutch in their wooden house and decide to go for the weekend. However, it doesn’t take long before the joy of reunion is replaced with misunderstandings. Things gradually get out of hand, as the Dutch turn out to be something very else than what they have pretended to be. The small Danish family now find themselves trapped in a house, that they wish they had never entered.”

Morten Burian, Sidsel Siem, Koch Fedja, Van Huêt, Karina Smulders, Liva Forsberg, and Marius Damslev star.
