The season is upon us! It’s the time of year that horror fans love and a number of platforms are gearing up to celebrate the arrival of Halloween, such as Hulu which is gearing up for it’s annual “Huluween” festivities.

To make the event much more special, Hulu is bringing two of this year’s most highly regarded horror movies to “Huluween” in Prano Bailey-Bond’s ‘Censor’ and Jaco Bouwer’s ‘Gaia this upcoming October.

Censor – “When film censor Enid (Niamh Algar) discovers an eerie horror video that speaks directly to her sister’s mysterious disappearance, she resolves to unravel the puzzle behind the film and its enigmatic director – a quest that will blur the lines between fiction and reality in terrifying ways.”

The film stars Niamh Algar, Nicholas Burns, Vincent Franklin, Sophia La Porta, Adrian Schiller, and Michael Smiley.

Gaia – “An injured forest ranger on a routine mission is saved by two off-the-grid survivalists. What is initially a welcome rescue grows more suspicious as the son and his renegade father reveal a cultish devotion to the forest. When their cabin is attacked by a strange being it’s clear there is a far greater threat in this unrelenting wilderness.”

The film stars Monique Rockman, Carel Nel, Alex van Dyk, and Anthony Oseyemi.
