Netflix has officially cancelled their new horror-mystery series ‘1899’ , from creators Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, following just one season and not long after it’s initial premier back in November.
According to a statement issued by the creators: “We would have loved to finish this incredible journey with a 2nd and 3rd season as we did with Dark. But sometimes things don’t turn out the way you planned. That’s life. We know this will disappoint millions of fans out there. But we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you were part of this wonderful adventure.”
Per the synopsis of the show: “On their journey across the vast and treacherous Atlantic Ocean, the passengers of the Kerberos encounter the biggest mystery of their lives.”
