HBO Max is giving Scooby-Doo character Velma Dinkley her own “adult animated series”, and a brand new trailer has arrived for the show that is set to tell the origin story of the beloved character, starting on January 12th.
According to the synopsis: “An original and humorous spin that unmasks the complex and colorful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers, executive producer Mindy Kaling will voice the titular character.
Velma Dinkley has previously been voiced by Nicole Jaffe, Pat Stevens, Marla Frumkin, Christina Lange, B.J. Ward, Mindy Cohn, Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Kate Micucci, Trisha Gum, Ariana Greenblatt, and Gina Rodriguez.
