Who doesn’t love a bloody evil and satanic Santa Claus? Well, that’s exactly what you’re going to get when the new horror comedy ‘Santastein’ makes it’s debut at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival later this year.
Directed by indie filmmakers Manuel Camilion and Benjamin Edelman, who also both wrote the film, a brand new clip has arrived to gives fans a deadly look into what a Frankenstein-like twist to a Killer Santa could look like.
According to the official rundown, ‘Santastein’ “puts the axe back in Xmas centers on Max, who, when he was only six years old, accidentally burned Santa to a crisp on Christmas Eve. 12 years later, Max attempts to raise Santa from the dead in order to fix his past mistakes and restore the Christmas spirit. But he soon realizes that the creature he has created is a bloodthirsty killer – and it’s headed straight for his friend’s Christmas party! Buckle in for some bloody holiday cheer that will leave you having a ho-ho-whole lot of fun!”
The film was shot entirely in Miami and stars Jared Korotkin, Michael Vitovich, Ophelia Rivera, and Kaylie Heyner.
