20th Century Studios horror film ‘The Boogeyman’, which is an adaptation of a 1972 story by Stephen King, has made it’s official arrival on digital outlets including Prime Video for rent or for purchase.
According to the official summary: “High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.”
The film stars Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) and Chris Messina (Birds of Prey) alongside David Dastmalchian (Dune, The Suicide Squad), Marin Ireland (Y: The Last Man, The Umbrella Academy), Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box, Mr. Corman) and Madison Hu (Voyagers).
