Eli Roth will be back behind the camera to direct ‘Thanksgiving 2’ which Sony’s TriStar has plans to release the sequel in 2025 following the success of ‘Thanksgiving’ which surpassed $30 million at the box office.
“We’re gonna take a year off so we can really, really write a great script. We want to outdo ourselves. Make it better than the first one,” Roth said of the upcoming sequel, according to his post on the Instagram social media platform.
Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks (“Walker”), Milo Manheim (Zombies), Nell Verlaque (“Big Shot”), Gina Gershon (“Chucky”), Tim Dillon and Rick Hoffman (Hostel) starred in this year’s film.
