Blumhouse is gearing up for the sequel to their smash hit ‘M3GAN’ with ‘M3GAN 2.0’ which is currently scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2025 and the film will star Ivanna Sakhno who will have a “major role” in the film, according to Deadline.
Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are back for the sequel as well and James Wan returns to produce.
While plot details of the film are not yet known, the film will likely center on the life-like AI doll line that is programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally.
The original film was wildly successful, raking in $180 million globally on just a $12 million budget and it’s success immediately put plans for a sequel in motion.
